Supporters Work by Tethys in the eastern Ionian Sea was possible thanks to the commitment and dedication of a number of people. We are grateful to all past and present collaborators for contributing to field data collection, data analysis and/or project management. Special thanks go to Nicolas Entrup, Sigrid Lüber, Dimitrios Moutopoulos, Giuseppe Notarbartolo di Sciara, Chrisoula and Kostas Papalexi, Giorgos Paximadis, Emma Sharp and Nikos Stantzouris. The Ionian Dolphin Project is being supported by UNEP’s Regional Activity Centre for Specially Protected Areas (RAC/SPA), the Earthwatch Institute, OceanCare and WDCS The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society. In previous years, funding came from a Pew Marine Conservation Fellowship and a Pew Collaborative Initiatives Fund granted to Giovanni Bearzi. Financial support was also provided by the UNEP/CMS Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans in the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and contiguous Atlantic area (ACCOBAMS), Agip, and TUI Corporate Environmental Management. Equipment, discounts and/or logistic support were offered by FieldWorker, Milan Civic Aquarium and Hydrobiological Station, Nikon, OCC Yachting, Psion Teklogix, Thetis SpA, Tuborg and Venice Natural History Museum.
